This softneck variety stores well (at least 4 months), and is milder than French Red and New York White. It is a Silverskin variety, meaning the outer layers are a pearly silver-white color. Very attractive. 1 pint (around 16 small heads size) for $10; 2 pints for $16 (SAVE $4). Henry’s hint: The silverwhite bulbs are small this year. If you want large bulbs, choose a French Red or New York White braid instead.
