We're busy planting 600 varieties of vegetables for YOU! Photo by Renee Mullen
We are a family farm in Central Illinois, in the rolling hills and fertile bottom land of the Mackinaw River Valley. Although currently not USDA Certified Organic, we still use the same sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices, which you can read about in Henry's book, Organic Matters . Our specialty is variety, with over 630 different items in our 2008 seed order. We provide fresh, delicious produce to families in the Bloomington-Peoria area with our CSA, and to families in the Chicago area with our stand at the Evanston Farmers Market. Food & Farm Notes. For a weekly peek at what's happening on Henry's Farm and what's coming to market (with a side helping of recipes, poetry, science, philosophy, and what have you), sign up the free Food & Farm Notes. |
