Get all the Food & Farm News (and recipes) of the week here.

Given that we have still had no rain, it is slightly miraculous that we are bringing up anything at all to the market this week.  But incredible fortitude on the part of the farmers means that you'll see some truly beautiful basil (pesto time!), and nice tomatoes, okra, and peppers at Henry's stand.  And the first of the aronia berries and ground cherries, plus dried herbs, plus lots of kinds of fresh mint for amazing mint salsa at Teresa's stand.

And you'll see many more kinds of herbs and vegetables, each one of them a small miracle--as everything is struggling from the heat, lack of water, and poor pollination. To truly understand the struggle, read Aozora's and Teresa's Farm Notes.  And come see us on Saturday!
