The birds were singing this morning as the sun blazed over the eastern horizon, reminding us (in the words of William Cullen Bryant), that “the February sunshine steeps your boughs and tints the buds and swells the leaves within." And how like that February sunshine is a loving heart!

Hard to believe, but that special day is just around the corner . . . and what better way to show your love than with hand-made, heart-made local soaps, jams, or teas?

See below for all the details, and come get some for yourself and/or your sweetie this Saturday.

Gifts for Your Valentine

Jill’s Organic Goat Milk Soaps

In addition to all of Jill’s regular soaps like Luxurious Lavender, Honey Oatmeal, and Gentleman Farmer, she and her girls have decorated some Valentine-themed soaps just for the holiday. Look for :

For You, Honey – This is a luxuriously soft soap almost exactly like Honey Oatmeal but with twice the amount of honey! Something sweet for your sweetie!

Rosehip – Instead of a dozen roses from South America, get this soap with everything rose in it, including rose petals, rosehip oil, rose absolute, and rose essential oil. Very nice scent!

Cranberry – This pretty red soap looks great paired with one of the lighter colored soaps. It has a delicate scent of rose absolute mixed with orange essential oil.
